All roads lead to the neighborhood

Direct attention to neighborhoods and communities with greater social work and better functioning of all the structures available to the Federation of Cuban Women, is a priority task of the women’s organization in the current circumstances.

This was corroborated by Teresa Amerelle Boué, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba and General Secretary of the FMC, who also affirmed that the Revolution is won on a daily basis, with a united and systematic act, when exchanging this Saturday in Bayamo with cadres and officials from the 13 municipalities of Granma and with the members of the Provincial Secretariat.

The leader of the Cuban women presented and submitted for analysis the new work strategies designed for the current circumstances, and gave the precise guidelines for the assurance of the new Family Code and the process of accountability of the delegates to their constituents.

On this last aspect, it was specified the important role of the FMC in the implementation of the tools required to visualize the possible candidates for delegates and the election of women capable of fulfilling such an essential task.

Similarly, in the analysis, reference was made to the preparation of the rapid response detachments and the part that falls to the federated in the confrontation to sell homelands and in the effort to highlight the value of families, maintain the conquests of the Revolution and for making next November 15 “a revolutionary party in the communities.”

At the meeting, the commitment of the federated women from Granma to the Revolution and socialism was made clear, and they exchanged on the strengths, opportunities, threats and weaknesses of the current work.
