The municipalities of Bayamo and Bartolomé Masó achieved the provincial Vanguard condition for the 61st anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution, which became a milestone in the history of America.
Federico Hernández Hernández, first secretary of the Communist Party in Granma, released through Perspectiva television program, that the decision was made by the provincial Bureau of the Party based on the work of the mass organizations and the economic and social indicators in the final stretch of the year.
Hernández Hernández pointed out that the provincial capital has remained a sustained work in the responses to the priorities and changes the economic indicators, while there has been showed a favorable political climate, much commitment of its leaders and the people.
Meanwhile, the mountainous territory shelter of the Rebel Army, consolidates its work at this stage with economic results in the coffee production and in the planting of sugar cane, also with a lot of commitment from its inhabitants.
The top political leader of the territory also informed that the municipalities of Guisa, Jiguaní and Río Cauto, stand out and has achieved the outstanding condition.
The leader summoned the people to carry out much more work, and achievements in the final stage of the year, to overcome inefficiencies and to demonstrate that it can and will be done.
With two political- cultural acts, the inauguration of works of social and economic interests, and festivities Granma will celebrate the six decades of the Rebel Army´s victory over the Fulgencio Batista´s dictatorship on January 1st, 1959.
