Circle of Interest of Public Relations created in Granma

The pioneers of the October 21 elementary school of Bayamo, received expectant and joyful an attractive offer from the social communicators of Granma, which consisted in the creation of a Circle of Interest of Public Relations that is called Sowing Smiles.

Several members of the Cuban Association of Social Communicators (ACCS) in this southeast territory – who will support the development of this initiative – explained to the children the main objectives, among which a better behavior of the children stands out.

They will also develop communication skills and be taught to be responsible, disciplined, hardworking, polite, well-behaved and will be  children more easily sociable.

Likewise, values ​​such as friendship, solidarity, responsibility and enhance love for others will be strengthened.

One of the most moving moments of the Thursday afternoon was the delivery of the card that accredit them as members of the Circle of Interest, and the collective performance of the song Las Palabras Mágicas,(the Magic words).

The creation ceremony was attended by teachers and school directors, in addition to parents, who also committed to support the initiative, as the main role of the family in the success of the proposed objectives was highlighted.

Helen María de la Fuente Lastre, director of the school, said to La Demajagua that it is important that all children learn to reach their classmates and their home, to help recover habits and values ​​that have weakened in society.

“I think our greatest challenge, in addition to putting into practice the knowledge they will receive, is to multiply them.”
