Flexible measures against Covid-19 in Granma

Dr. Ana Julia Quesada Fong, a specialist at the Provincial Center for Hygiene, Epidemiology and Microbiology, said that Granma is currently on a plateau of infections, even though it stands out among the four in the country with the highest positivity. However, in the coming days the figures should decrease as a result of a wise application of health protocols, a greater scope of the vaccination process and the effectiveness of the restriction measures themselves.

In correspondence from the date indicated, the commercial and gastronomy units will gradually receive their vitality to offer the usual offers, while compliance with the widely known sanitary measures will be a constant.

Regarding the teaching process, the local press announced that at the moment only twelfth grade students and the last year of Technical-Professional Education will receive their classes in person and the restart process for the rest of the levels.

The house of higher studies in Granma will maintain its distance training practices for the moment, until its premises are properly enabled, which were used for the admission of patients during this period of fight against Covid-19.
