The Bayamese poet Lucía Muñoz Maceo was invited to participate in the Living Anthology of the World’s Poets project.

It is part of the Fifth Eurasian Literary Festival, which will culminate in Istanbul at the end of October 2021.

The Bride of Bayamo will join in virtually through a video with the reading of one of her creations in the mother tongue.

The invitation to this electronic anthology composed of videos of the best poets in the world, arises from their participation in the 31st edition of the International Poetry Festival of Medellín, Colombia.

For the letters of Granma and Cuba, having the presence of Lucía in the various festivals of the world reaffirms that she is one of the most representative voices of our contemporary poetry.

With a degree in Letters from the Universidad de Oriente, Muñoz Maceo was president of the Provincial Committee of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba and holds numerous awards and recognitions that endorse her more than five decades of artistic life.
