Anniversaries 99 of the FEU and 45 of the University of Granma are a pair of motivations with which the students of Campus Blas Roca re-start classes for the period 2020 – 2021 today.

Equally important among future teachers in Granma will be the upcoming celebration of International Student Day, on November 17.

During the ceremony, a representation of first and second year students from the secondary school were presented with the Board of Directors of that institution, and the presidencies of the FEU of the faculty and the house of higher studies.

The Mella Room hosted the activity, with a special moment in the presentation to Professor Sucel Nohemí Alejandrez Jiménez, of the title that accredits her as Doctor of Science (Ph.D.).

Alejandrez Jiménez leads the Costa Viva university extension project, with which she won the International Energy Globe Award in 2020.

The event was attended by Ph.D. Maikel Ortiz Bosch, vice-rector of the University of Granma, among other academic authorities, of the Communist Party of Cuba, the UJC and the FEU.
