Coffee agro- industry introduces modern technology in the southeast province of Granma with the benefits of international cooperation, which complements the investment program of the Cuban State.

Likewise, the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation contributes, with the creation of the largest technified nursery for the production of high quality postures in areas of the Sierra Maestra, the delivery of tools, ecological pulping machines, and the development of training actions.

The international collaboration project Revitalization of Cuban coffee growing also included the installation of irrigation systems, solar drying and creation of classrooms for training in agricultural production cooperative in Guisa.
