Nicaraguan educators support food production program

From the heart of the furrow, Nicaraguan educators contribute to the food production program, a prioritized task to which these men and women who once again respond to the call of the Revolution join.

Aware of the vital task, this May 25, a total of two hundred young people and teachers mobilized to the productive areas of the Raúl de Aguiar Fernández Mixed Center to gain space for the marabou, creating new land for cultivation and self-consumption by educational institutions in Nicaragua.

The aforementioned educational institution owns more than six hectares of land to which another four will be added in the application process. Among its crops, cassava, pumpkin, sweet potato, donkey banana, vegetables stand out, as well as a livestock module made up of oxen, sheep, goats and cows.

This action, in addition to increasing food production, supporting self-consumption, strengthens the vocational and professional training of the new generations.
