The Rector of this House of High Studies, Narcy Bueno Figueras commented that on this occasion the Covid-19 has forced us to go from a face-to-face to a totally virtual one.

“The pandemic has once again challenged the world by forcing the search for alternatives based on science and research to improve the living conditions of men and women.

“This is an opportunity in which once again the university will present to the people the results of science in local development that will undoubtedly contribute to the recovery of our country and the world.

“It has been a very big challenge for the university, given limitations that we all know, including energy, but we are convinced that they will become a space for debate and exchange in which important results will be presented based on the development of the country,” said Bueno Figueras.

In this edition of the 7th, the virtual forum Cuba Germany will meet during which two topics will be addressed: The challenges of Higher Education in research and development activity during the pandemic, and The opportunities for academic and scientific cooperation between German and Cuban universities in the context of covid-19.
