Granma has just started the assembly process of the Municipal Committees of the Party, which has been preparing in the midst of the fight against the new coronavirus epidemic, and which constitutes the holding of the Base Congress of the country’s highest political body.

The development of the thirteen partisan municipal assemblies is between November and December, which collect the work and the most significant territorial problems, since it is the purpose of the province, that in these debate and proposal meetings, it is deepened how, from the party, there is a greater approach to the people, and it’ projected in the essences of what is necessary to achieve in these times.

As the first secretary of the Party in Granma, Federico Hernández, has indicated, each of these processes will resemble its own territory.

Undoubtedly, at the end of these meetings, our party, the rector of Cuban society, will be more strengthened by drawing on the projections and criteria of the revolutionary masses that have been contributing to consolidate the revolution.

The assembly process of the party in the municipal committees in Granma is already taking place in the midst of this crucial battle of society, which has been the confrontation with Covid-19, a fight for life, with the vicissitudes that the imperial measures of the blockade generate daily and that nevertheless they have found in the unity of our people the most robust bulwark.

Produce food, achieve greater participation and social inclusion in our government, reach every citizen, invigorate the best political and humanistic qualities of the militancy, confront corruption, crime and illegalities and boldly face enemy provocations that seek to destabilize the nation, they are in the essence of these exchanges between revolutionaries, in order to consolidate this society that has demonstrated its humanism and its resistance to advance.
