Rubén Bravo Pedagogical School is ready to resume the school year

Rubén Bravo Pedagogical School, from Bayamo, an educational institution that served as an isolation center in Granma province, is getting ready to restart the school year from the second half of November.

Its director, Yanier Peláez, states that they have already begun with the attention to the more than 200 students who must graduate this school period from the center, while they prepare to resume face-to-face classes with the rest of the years, starting on November 15.

The director specified that among the priorities is the modeling of the exercises of culmination of study of the future teachers in the seven specialties and that they must graduate for the first time to fifty teachers of basic secondary science.

In this sense, he stressed that the school plays an important role in also guaranteeing teaching coverage in primary, special, preschool and primary-level English subject.

Regarding the process of recruitment in ninth grade to enter the pedagogical school, he specified that it will be carried out when the basic secondary schools reopen, in order to ensure the vocation of those who are inclined towards these careers.

With an enrollment of 1,192 students in seven specialties, the Rubén Bravo Pedagogical School is a paradigm among its counterparts in the country for the quality of training and in all its processes.

The educational institution was an important prop in the confrontation with the pandemic and its committed faculty was vital to support health personnel in caring for patients.
