The University of Gramma resumed on November 1, the face-to-face teaching activities for the day course and course by encounters, under strict compliance with sanitary protocols and biosafety measures in order to guarantee the preservation of the health status of the university community.

Today the first-year students were received at the main headquarters of the Batalla de Peralejo center and the students of the following years were welcomed again.

Aslay Jerez Blanco, a fifth-year veterinary medicine student, spoke on behalf of the University Student Federation (FEU) when he said “today our organization embraces them as children in the face of the adversities imposed on us by the current society in which we have the responsibility and the commitment to exalt the values ​​of the Revolution, if we work together we will be victorious”.

The meeting was attended by the highest authorities of the province who were recognized for their contribution and support to the house of high studies in Granma this year when the 45th anniversary of its creation is commemorated.

Federico Hernández Hernández, first secretary of the Communist Party in Granma who said that restarting the school year is restarting life, continuing development and growing for the future, today represents a victory and no one should doubt that together we will continue to win.

Due to the epidemiological situation in the country, the University of Gramma organized its teaching hours in accordance with compliance with the established hygienic-sanitary measures.

The board of directors of the center reported that for the Faculties of Physical Culture, Economic and Social Sciences, Agricultural Sciences and Technical Sciences, first-year students will attend the institution during the first three weeks of each month and the rest of the academic years will do it in the last one and they will continue in a blended way the rest of the time.

In the case of the Faculty of Secondary Education belonging to the Campus Blas Roca Calderío, the first two weeks will receive beginning students while the second and third year will be incorporated in the first and second respectively.

On the other hand, the students of the Faculty of Basic Education and the careers of the Faculty of Technical Sciences belonging to the same campus will also attend in a staggered manner, the third week will do the second year, the fourth the third year and during the two the enrollment will attend first.

The course by encounters was organized in a similar way, for the students of the Faculty of Physical Culture of this modality the face-to-face activities will be held on Monday and Tuesday for the first year, on Wednesday for the third year and Thursday for the fourth year during the first and third week of the month.

Meanwhile, the rest of the faculties will work on Fridays and Saturdays, interspersing the different academic years and careers in the different weeks.
