Marta Wilson González, minister – president of the Central Bank of Cuba, recognized the work of officials, specialists and workers in the banking sector after concluding, this Tuesday, November 9, a working visit to the province of Granma.
Wilson González explained that she had the opportunity to exchange with the group of the banking system about their doubts, concerns and make a group of necessary clarifications, in addition to taking the opportunity to talk with some beneficiary producers and companies with the credits of the development bank and other services.
The Minister-President considered the feedback with the agricultural branch to be important in order to speed up the service, based on listening to their criteria, due to the decisiveness of food production for the economic development of the country.
“We have to promote that these credits are granted properly, that the peasants understand the services and how the bank provides them together with the fundamental obligation that this money be returned as a loan”.
She urged to provide a higher quality service, despite the limitations with material resources, in which it is necessary to work with more study and preparation to fulfill the assigned task well.
She highlighted the effort made in the sector in the province with an increased service, in a difficult stage, in time of COVID-19 with sick colleagues, with problems at the ATMs, but they have guaranteed it.
She stressed that these challenges force us to be better every day, to seek methods and ways to advance in serving the people.
