The Fruit and Vegetable Canning Factory, in the municipality of Yara, undertakes an intense mango processing campaign for the production, mainly of compotes aimed for children from 0 to 3 years of age.

The workers of that industry are those who do not stop in times of coronavirus to fulfill their corporate purpose of producing food for the people.

The old cannery is destined for the preparation of semi-finished fruit, vegetables, legumes and root vegetables through the transformation and use of raw materials: agricultural, domestic and imported.

Its traditional products include sauces, spices and condiments, juices, nectars, compotes, food, infusions, fresh fruits and vegetables, and other productions for export and to the national markets.
