According to the indications of the Ministry of Agriculture, he said productions are based on the use of natural inputs and biological control means, for which the province has 21 Entomophage and Entomopathogen reproduction centers.

In Guisa, one of the towns with the best results, Jorge La Rosa Aguilar, farmer of the Eliseo Reyes Credit and Services Cooperative (CCS), harvests up to two tons of food on his plot, including vegetables, viands, condiments, coffee and fruit trees.
He also has a greenhouse where recently harvested a ton of tomato, and has 17 animals for the reproduction of the so-called dark-coated pig.
