Nine new cases of Covid-19 in Cuba, 2,092 in total
The Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) raised the total number of cases confirmed with Covid-19 to 2,092, having added nine new cases, with 83 deaths registered.

Francisco Durán, director of Epidemiology of MINSAP, noted that there were no deaths on Monday, as well as in the two previous days, with the number of deaths remaining at 83.

As pointed out by the expert, of the latest infested, all are Cuban.

According to Durán, of the new positive cases of the disease (six women and three men), seven were contacts of previously confirmed cases and the source of infection has not been specified.

Durán explained that 444 patients were admitted to hospitals for clinical-epidemiological surveillance on Monday, and 1,736 people are being followed up on at home by the Primary Health Care.

One thousand three hundred and fity-two cases were studied yesterday to determine infection with Covid-19, with 108,389 samples collected so far.

Doctor Durán added that of the diagnosed patients, 176 are in stable clinical evolution, 1,827 have been discharged, two were evacuated to their countries of origin, none are in critical condition and four are in serious condition.
